What a visit!

Sam heard Grandma and Grandpa V were coming!

Cooper loved getting snuggles from grandpa

We spent Sammy's birthday at Sarah P. Duke Gardens and the weather was amazing 70 degrees and breezy!

Coop loved being out and running around

And somehow, we stumbled onto Cameron Blvd...you know where Coach K reigns supreme...Coop got a chance to run on the court but not before we decided to take off his UNC hat...had to show Coach K some respect!

Sammy loving the park and driving it!

Chillin' with grandma

And rocking his new UNC hat from grandma...mom LOVES it!  He looks so handsome in it!

And this morning, Dadda caught Coop rocking a faux-hawk...looks like it is time for a hair cup, as Coop calls it!

And we tired everyone out by the end of the day...poor grandma was stuck in the center of the car seats, not very roomy but I think if you can't move at all, you can nap?!?!
Soakin in the sun!

Thanks for coming out Grandma and Grandpa, we miss you already!

And a little boy turned one...

Our little Sammy turned one on November 26th and everything was just as it should be.  We started the day with Grandma Cathi and Grandpa John and some chocolate chip pancakes!

My little man enjoyed all of the extra loving!

And we all sang to this little boy who has completed our family!

Sam's food palate is way more advanced than big brother Coopers so we thought he would devour the smash cake...not so much!

He just kinda looked at me like, "Is this it?"

Rather bored with the whole thing!

But not too bored to get some more loving from Grandma

And Dadda

What an amazing year this has been with Sammy in our lives.  It is so fun watching Cooper and Sam interact, watching Sam grow and begin to walk (he took several steps on and after his b-day) and his little personality is independent and loving!  We love you Sam!

Late November happenings

Cooper and his Harvest Festival hat at preschool...seriously, so talented!

Sammy in the helicopter at the mall

Just playing some trains with my brother, no big D

Is this how the bridge works Cooper?

Speaking of bridges, Cooper is obsessed with the Wonderland Express exhibit at the Museum of Life and Sciences!  He can not get enough time watching Thomas and Percy and the rest of the trains go around and around and around...

Seriously LOVES it

And my boys enjoying some juice for Coops and water for Sammy in the morning.  Coop loves these Thomas sorting cards and so does Sammy but Sam only wants to eat them.

At the Marbles Museum in the toddler lagoon (he is not a toddler yet is he???)

He could totally scale that if he wanted to...

Big bro loves this place

Hockey~he was in this area for about 45 minutes!

Sammy loved the hub caps on the wall!

Just an average Sunday

This little man (who will be one year old in a week!) races up the stairs and into the bathroom before Terry and I can blink an eye and scan the room for him...

He LOVES to pull the TP off the roll and his giggle, oh, how I wish I could bottle it up forever!

And we are continuing with improving our cooking skills...today, chocolate chip cookies were in order.

I love that he has his hand on my neck here

Our finished project

so proud

High ten to momma...with his cooking mitts and all

And Sammy, loving life in the bathroom

old and new

We just started to like to cook with momma

We call this being Mr. Incredible...something about the mixers!

We also still love to swing, a lot!

Can he get any more handsome?!?!

We climb, a lot!

We like to 'drive it'

and play with brothers.

Fish are a new thing...

but entertaining for us all!

Coop still loves to be read to.

And play dates with friends at the museum are so much fun!

Sam thinks so as well.
Have a good week!
