Cooper's Pizza Party

To celebrate our little man, we decided to do it right by having a make your own pizza party!  It was a BLAST...we ordered 8 individual pizzas for all of the kids in attendance and they got to see their pizza creation from start to finish.  Coop is eyeing the cupcakes here...

Before the party started, Coop making sure all is in order...

Sam, checkin' in on those cupcakes, not yet little Sammy.

And we are down to business.  The staff at Naked Pizza were sooo great with the kids, so patient, friendly and kind.  Cooper loved making his own.

And my little chef, who I thought would be all over the make your own pizza idea b/c he loves, loves to cook with me, was just content to eat whatever brother was willing to share.

And onto the best part for Cooper...cupcakes!

We sang and he blew out his candle.  Happy 5th birthday, little man.  We are so proud to call you ours!

Special Birthday Visitors

Before a weekend full of birthday festivities, Cooper and Sam got a visit from their best girls, Grandma Cathi and Cousin Grace

Sam was elated!

We were especially lucky to take cupcakes into Cooper's class on Thursday to celebrate him.  He was soooo excited!

And he could not wait to eat!

Sam fit right in as well, and had his own spot at the table right along with the kids.  That cupcake had no chance!

While Grace and Gma were here, we went on some adventures...Lincoln Memorial

Washington Monument

A really nice man took a picture of us all (Coop in school and dadda at work).

Grace, too!

And before we knew it, it was time to celebrate our little man's 5 years on this earth!

He had a wonderful day!

We went to the National Mall

Rode the 'L' train

Opened and played with presents

And yes, more cake

He did not want to take that hat off!

Showing Grace some love

Pizza Party details to come!

It has been a long winter...

We got about 8 inches of snow in the middle of February and it was a blast for the boys...here we are on our neighbors bank of snow

It was a lot taller than Sammy

So we played indoors a lot, too.  Sam, riding his horse.

And making Dadda some yummy pizza at the Playseum in DC

Coop got in on the action as well

We are practicing a lot around here, too cute not to throw in!

We also spent some time at the Navy Museum at Yards Park in DC

Sam asking brother, "What's in here, Coops?"

Climbing stuff, NBD

And hanging out with momma as she is trying to cook

We are at the President's Day Parade in Old Town, Alexandria.  It was cold but fun.  Boys were done at about an hour...

Too cold even with our new jacket and fur hat!

But not too cold for donuts!

This was a warm day at the park...

Just living out life....happy to be here!
