Kiev, Ukraine

It is a bit of an assault on the senses being immersed into Russian after a pleasant absence from it, but here we are, another bridge to cross.  I have forgot many words and struggle to communicate with my host family and in my lessons, but here are some photos.
 It is slightly chilly here.

This is supposed to be the finest university in Kiev, it was just soo red that I had to take it.  Looks a little out of place.
Breakfast with my host family.  Awesome.
The last statue of Lenin, kind of nostalgic that they tore down all the others.

So we go to the Disney Castle and...........

Coop, Do you want to read or see Mickey's castle?  His response.... I want Mickey!  Ok, lets do it.
There she is, the castle that inspired the one at Disneyland.
There is Cooper in his back-pack.  The castle is above the building at one o'clock.  That is as close as we got to it.  It was too chilly, way to cold for Coop and his runny nose.  He also melted down and needed a nap.  It was beautiful and we look forward to seeing it up close when it is warmer.
After the meltdown, we took Cooper to a restaurant where he got to see Mickey as he wanted, on the kids menu.
Goodbye castle.
Bye Bye!  I am happy once I am at home with my trains and I have had a nap.  Love you all.

Few pics of our new crib...

We are settling in, slowly but surely.  Our car arrived along with our furniture last week.  So exciting! This is our car on the left...with new German plates and the mountains in the background.
View from the commisary, our grocery store.
Coop and Dad, getting ready for some shopping...
We went to Innsbruck, Austria today and walked with the locals!  (I missed this stroller so much!)
We found your dress Auntie Kate!  We are so happy for you and Elvis!

We have arrived!

Germany is beautiful!  The mountains alone are worth the jet lag that we have(Coop and I were up this morning at 2am)!  We have a wonderful 3 bedroom place, with plenty of room!  I will post some pictures when we are out of the fog!
