Already getting A's
Cooper, Terry and I went to the pediatrician today for our 4 month check-up...rough day for our boy. Three shots in those perfect chubby thighs and he immediately feel asleep in our arms. He is a gifted boy though...he weighs in at 17.5 pounds, his height 26 1/2 inches-both in the 97th percentile for his age! He is so roly-poly right now and we are loving it!

LOVE play dates...
Today Cooper had a wonderful play date with Serena and Baby Dyess. We went to the Chan's house and had lunch, watched the kiddies play and discussed Baby Dyess' arrival into the world (so excited for you guys!). It was a lot of fun. I have come to realize in my short time as a parent that play dates are often more for the parents than for the babies as the adult beverages and laughs were flowing! We will miss you guys so much!
I mean what?!?!

Bath time and giggles...
Cooper really likes bath time. Usually he showers with Daddy but this time, we decided to put him in his little bathtub. He surprised both Terry and I by laughing out loud as soon as I put water on him! Don't you just love his giggles?!?!

Rolling over?!?!
We think Cooper may be ready to roll over soon. I put him down on his jungle mat and leave the room for a second and when I return, he has done a complete 180 turn and I see him look up at me just like this picture. I think sometimes he is as surprised as I am and I imagine in 5-10 years he will have the same "What did I just do?" look on his face. I keep saying, he is a gifted baby boy...

Weekend in Chicago
Cooper and I had our first mother-son getaway to Chicago to visit family. While Terry was in Las Vegas for Cousin Al's bachelor party (pretty rough for him I know :)), Cooper and I stayed at Grandma Judy's and had such a nice time visiting with family. While we enjoyed the whole visit, one of the many hi-lights was our photo session with Cooper's cousin's Jack and Ryan. We had so much fun! Cooper did well on the plane and only cried when he was tired or bored...then he let everyone know he was unhappy!
Lookin' good...
Almost ready to sit up...
Our little guy is almost ready to sit up. He has a sort of love-hate relationship with his Bumbo seat. Some days he is smiling and happy and others he is letting us know how he feels about it...tears are often involved! But he is getting so big and strong...now all he needs is a remote, some nachos and the playoffs on and he will be just like mommy, I mean daddy! :)
